There are a few things in life that totally wipe out any desire I have to be creative
*pregnancy
*illness
*too little sleep for too long
*trying to keep my house perfectly clean while trying to sell it
These are just a few of the ones that come readily to mind. I have discovered a new one this summer - uncertainty. As everyone knows, David is finishing his medical training in June 2010. At this point, our future is uncertain. We don't know where we are going. We don't know if we are moving. We don't even know if all the stars will align so that we have a practice to go to right away.
These uncertainties occupy my mind. They divert my mental powers into a continual loop leaving little room for creative outlets. Thus, my blog entries are flat and my list of household projects are mounding. Instead of dreaming about the future we are frozen in the uncertain present.
However, there are still good days. Here are some pictures of some beautiful gardens David and I went to last month in Fort Worth, Texas.

You have our sympathies! I hope everything works out soon. I'm personally hoping for the northern California option, but you know my bias. :)
Enjoyed the pictures. Good luck with the practice hunt and projects around the house
I understand the pregnancy one...ugh. Really I think it is just a motivation killer. Because creativity is not the only fire that has gone out around here. :) 10 more weeks!
I hear you! Bryson and I have the same uncertainties in our future. We are not sure where we will end up ourselves! Pray and good luck!
