Beach Trip in the Spring

For our vacation this year we are at the beach in Florida at a beach house that we rented with Heather's sister Mindy's family. We are having a great time so far with lots of games and beach time. Some exploring was done yesterday and Joseph and Mindy bought a raft that has been a bunch of fun on the waves. Even if it did dump all the kids on their heads multiple times. It is very nice to be off call for a few days here for me too. The drive was about 13 hours and by the end, the last hour felt like three! I guess I'm out of practice at marathon driving. We have very few plans for the week except more beach. Enjoy the pictures!

Cute Baby Tricks

Emma just keeps growing and changing. We just can't get enough of her smiles around here. The kids are enamored as well. Someone is always stopping by to say hi, give her a kiss, and catch an excited smile from her. Here is her newest trick!

Emma Sings

Emma is growing fast and developing her talents quickly. She also is very sporadic in showing them off. I caught one of her latest on video. Sorry for the poor quality, but you grab what you can get with babies. Right?

Adventures in San Antonio

We decided it was about time we visited Julia in San Antonio a few weeks ago.   This was our first big adventure in a long time what with the baby and all, so we were pretty excited.  We went to the San Antonio Temple Friday night while our new built in babysitter handled the kids nearby.  The inside of the temple is just amazing!  The next morning we took the kids to the grounds and took some pictures.  Then off to the Japanese Gardens, which was one of our favorite places in San Antonio when we lived there.  It has always been fairly quiet in the past, but was kind of busy.  Still it was peaceful there, if hot.  Then we got together with some old friends, the Wrights.  Julia had some concerns about her pregnancy, and I met her and Chris in the hospital while she got some tests.  Fortunately all was well and we took them out to dinner after they were discharged.  All in all, I think we had a great time.  Here are a few pictures, enjoy!
