A Happy and Sad Trip to Utah

Hello everyone, Daylin will be commenting for the first time for this blog. Here goes. - David

Hi everyone,

This year we went to Utah for a funeral Zion-Grace and had a wonderful time. We played UNO the card game waiting for our plane to come. The day after we got there in the morning we went to our great-grandma and great-grandpa Cate we played with the toys she has and ate cupcakes. After we went there then we went to BYU college and saw our uncle Ben in a performance for one of the teachers at Marriott school. After that we went to eat lunch with our uncle Ben. Then when we got back to Aunt Elizabeth's house we played with our cousins until dinner time.The rest of the days we went to two soccer games,got ice cream,went to our great-grandpa Steed and heard the original Old Nellie story,played more with our cousins,and had a memorial service for Zion-Grace.

Utah Trip 2008

A Massive Swingset!

Many of you have already seen these pictures, but for the benefit of all you who haven't here are pictures of the new monsterous swingset that we felt compelled to buy recently. After buying it we then of course felt compelled to put it up. That was less fun for me, but actually, Heather and I do seem to have more fun together when we are sharing a project.

Anyway my handyman skills came in handy, but my drill was absolutely essential. Not to say that I did it by myself of course. I had help from many people. Thanks to all who did.
