Memorial day started out with a lot of rain, then a little more, then a lot more. We were sure our plans for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows was a bust. Then the rain stopped in the afternoon and we has a fire after all. We each tried to make Uncle Aaron's "perfect" toasted marshmallows, but I believe "crispy" would have been a better descriptive word for them.
