This winter is going by so quickly! I can't believe we are half way through February. Usually, at this time of year I am sick of the cold and gloom. Perhaps, knowing that we will be leaving all of this behind in a few months for the hot, humid, weather of Houston is helping me to appreciate the beauty of one last Indiana winter. Or perhaps it is my frantic days trying to get the house ready for sale and gathering the necessities for a cruise next week. Either way, time is flying!
We had about six inches of snow last week and another four inches on Tuesday of this week. Due to road conditions and high winds, school was canceled for two days. The kids played hard and long in the snow - snow chairs, sledding, snowmen, snow mountains (provided by the local snowplow) and lots of red noses and cheeks. They played so long outside that their snow pants were soaked through! Here are some more snow pictures of the kids having a wonderful time.

Looks cold, but fun. :) Hopefully it won't snow in the Caribbean while we are there.
Oh, the joy of playing in the snow as a kid! I don't enjoy it anymore! Allen has to be the one to build the snowman with Ethan.
